Garden Tips for Summer
- Water established plantings to a depth of at least 12
inches.
- Plant beans, squash, melons, cucumbers, and corn.
- Stake tomato plants so that the fruit doesn't drag on the
ground
- Harvest consistently so that your garden plants continue to
produce. The more you pick your crop in your garden, the more
vegetables you’ll have. If you leave mature vegetables sitting
on the plant, the plant will focus on nurturing that instead of
producing new vegetables.
